The use of the laser seals off the nerve endings so that there is less pain, cauterizes the blood vessels so that there is less bleeding, and speeds healing time. Dr. Hall and his assistant Katie,are positioning Molly for radiographs of the hip and leg area. If the bones do prove to be fractured, Dr. Davidson will perform orthopedic surgery to repair the leg and hip with bone pins and bone plates used for stability, if needed. |
